Speaker Bio

Dr. Wadland is an internationally known lecturer and consultant on software engineering.

He is currently the President of Concurrency Magic where he provides training and mentoring to client companies on many subjects, including concurrency. He was a Distinguished Engineer in the Silicon / Package / Board division of Cadence Design Systems, where he was the senior architect of their GRE project . Prior to joining Cadence, he was Vice President of Engineering Software, Inc. where he provided software consulting services to dozens of companies ranging from startups to multinationals. He is a former Chairman of the Computer Science Department at FSC and holds a B.S. from WPI and a Ph.D. from UNH.
