Travel has been a major passion for essentially my entire life.
I've driven to all 48 of the continental United States, twice! Once in my WV van and once in my Road trek van. I've flown to Hawaii, twice. (The roads to Hawaii are a little too wet). I've only visited Alaska on a technicality. (One flight to Tokyo had to refuel in Anchorage. I talked the flight attendants into letting me run down the stairs, touch the tarmac, and run back up.)
I've visited six continents. (Antarctica is still on my wish list.) This includes five Round-the-World (RTW) trips. Four times, I went around the world going west; once I went around going east. (So, I guess I need to go around going east three more times to even it out, right?)
